1- Remaining Schedule

The New York Mets have beat up on the teams that they are supposed to beat up on this year.  The rest of the season the Mets will have plenty of time lay down some more beatings.

Beside the Subway Series in mid-September vs. the cross town rival New York Yankees and Washington Nationals every other series will be against teams with below .500 records.

The Mets have a large chunk of their remaining schedule vs the bottom dwellers of the NL East.  This includes series vs. the Philadelphia Phillies, Miami Marlins and Atlanta Braves.

Once September hits all of these below .500 teams will be testing their rookies and it should translate to some prime games for the Mets to steal.

The Mets have given their fans a great ride so far, but it all means nothing if they cannot finish it off with a playoff berth and an NL East Title.

Get those NL East Championship tee-shirts ready Mets fans they are going to finish the season off as the team nobody wants to face in round one of the playoffs.
