New York Yankees Fan Hits Brett Gardner In Head On HR ThrowbackImagine this. You’re a fan of the home team, sitting in the outfield bleachers. You catch an authentic MLB baseball off a home run hit by the road team.

You know you’ll naturally be booed from the high heavens if you don’t quickly deposit the ball back onto the outfield. So with all your might you let it fly and throw that bad karma ball back.

Oops, you hit your favorite team’s right fielder right in the head.

This is what happened to a New York Yankees fan on Sunday as he clobbered Brett Gardner right in the head after Jose Bautista home run in the fourth-inning of the Toronto Blue Jays 2-0 win.

Ouch for Gardner and the fan. Talk about getting booed unmercifully, this guy probably needed the National Guard to get out of Yankee Stadium today.

After the game, Joe Girardi said the ball hit Gardner in the head. He remained in the game and finished.
