After the latest news coming down about Patriots quarterback Tom Brady breaking his cell phone, the local papers had a field day.

Anybody who’s lived in New York City long enough can tell you the mercy level of the local media isn’t usually of high priority. Local publications and news spreads through the town even quicker than Kim Kardashian “breaking the internet.”
This is especially the case for local print.
So, naturally, when the news about New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady breaking his cell phone broke on Tuesday, most knew what to expect Wednesday morning on the newsstands. The only question was, how brutal would they be towards the four time Super Bowl Champion?
Well, both the New York Daily News and the New York Post did an admirable job.

Harsh, I know. At the same time, no New York Jets or Giants fan will be shedding a tear for this future Pro Football Hall of Famer who made a mountain out of a molehill through the denying and smug culture that is the Pats.
It’s clear the News edged the Post on Wednesday’s edition. Until next time.
