During their current road trip in Chicago, rookies for the St. Louis Cardinals were tasked with a common yet unique job to complete.

There’s really no other way to put it other than being the new guy is tough.

Whether it be at work, in the classroom, or as a rookie of a Major League Baseball team, the new guys always take the brunt of the action.

The new guys of the St. Louis Cardinals were reminded of this sentiment on Tuesday.

Prior to their game against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field, the Cardinals decided to task their rookies with picking up coffee.

Derrick Goold or the St. Louis Post-Dispatch posted an image of rookies Kleininger Teran, Miguel Socolovich, Marcus Hatley and Mitch Harris to Instagram.

Their journey took them to the local Starbucks on the North Side near The Friendly Confines.

Hey, it could’ve been worse. At least they didn’t have to hop on a bus in full uniform.
