Meet Kristaps Porzingis, the newest member of the New York Knicks who’ll be the turning point for the franchise or continue the awfulness.

Maybe Carmelo Anthony isn’t too fond of Phil Jackson’s decision in the 2015 NBA Draft. Or maybe he is.

At this point we honestly don’t know.

Regardless, Latvian-sensation Kristaps Porzingis is the newest member of the New York Knicks. The 7’1” big-man will either become the turning point for a franchise who has only seen the postseason four-times in the last 14 years, or just another piece to the continuing struggles that’ll forge ahead.

The hope is that he’ll become a slight version of Dirk Nowitzki. A guy with size who’s a more mobile version of the German future Hall of Fame Maverick.

He can shoot it, has great footwork and shows some promise on the defensive end of the floor. For all of his upside and potential, however, it’ll take some time for his 220 lbs., 19-year old body to fully develop.

Here are some videos to get acquainted with the newest baller who’ll make Madison Square Garden his home.
