Vezina Trophy

This trophy is awarded to the best goalie in a reular season, as judged by the all 30 general managers of the NHL.
It was named in honor of Georges Vezina, a goaltender for the Canadiens who unexpectedly collapased during a game. He was later diagnosed with tuberculosis and died. The trophy was donated in his honor by the Canadiens organization.
