Ted Lindsay Trophy

Formerly known as the Lester B. Pearson Award, it was renamed in 2010 after the Hockey Hall of Famer. He was known for his skill and leadership and played an important role in the formation of the Player’s Association. The award was originally given in 1971 and given to the most outstanding player. Unlike the Hart Trophy, this is voted on by members of the Players Association.

2015 Nominees: Jamie Benn (Dallas Stars), Alex Ovechkin (Washington Capitals), Carey Price (Montreal Canadiens)

My pick to win: Alex Ovechkin

I'm a blogger trying to make it in this world. Have been, and always will be, a fan of the NYR and NYG. Writing for the New Jersey Devils cause, well, someone has to do it!
