At Bellator 138 on Friday night, Ken Shamrock was put on his fanny by Kimbo Slice in the main event.

There’s something sad about the main event at Bellator 138 Friday night.

First we have Kimbo Slice. He’s the quintessential street fighter, the guy who’s never truly made it in the MMA world and a guy few professionals respect and admire.

Then there’s Ken Shamrock. He’s the complete opposite. He’s the guy who most MMA artists admire and hold near and dear to their hearts. The reason is, because he has one of the biggest hearts himself.

It’s sad though, to see Shamrock putting himself in a situation like this.

The “World’s Most Dangerous Man” is now 51-years old, yet he simply cannot let go of fighting.

Shamrock was knocked out by the far less talented Slice on Friday night in the main event at Bellator 138.

Bellator, clearly looking for a splash and ratings, just took their own legitimacy down a notch with this setup.
