As OTAs roll on new head coach Todd Bowles and his New York Jets, placing Geno Smith and Brandon Marshall together has hit the news.

For the New York Jets, new and better than ever is a mantra every member of the organization can hang their hat on.
4-12 a season ago was just the opposite.
That’s why New Jersey natives Mike Maccagnan and Todd Bowles came in and quickly reminded Jets fans how a real organization should be run – swift action, purposeful and to the point.
The overall majority argue that, after all of the acquisitions this offseason (Darrelle Revis, Antonio Cromartie, Buster Skrine, etc.), quarterback will be the position that holds the key to 2015 success.
And while that is very obvious, what’s not is how to improve upon third-year quarterback Geno Smith’s lack of success.
One solution we’re finding out very early on during the process is to put a hardened veteran with the guy.
New York Post’s Brian Costello was the first to report that newly-acquired wide receiver Brandon Marshall is rooming with Smith during OTAs.
To help accelerate the chemistry between he and Smith, Marshall moved in with Smith in New Jersey. The two have been living together for the past month. Marshall said he and Smith first met a few years ago and they bonded. The duo got together in South Florida shortly after the trade in March to work out.
What’s interesting is the fact that Marshall hasn’t enjoyed the most perfect of careers as it deals with non-football issues.
At this point, though, anything is on the table when Geno is concerned.
