Last night, as the Los Angeles Angels invaded Fenway Park to take on the Boston Red Sox, Mike Trout showed everyone why he’s the best ball player in Major League Baseball.

In the fifth-inning, Trout attempted to steal third-base.

The man was beaten by a terrific throw, only to pull one of the craziest houdini acts in a long, long time:

The reigning AL MVP helped his team to a 12-5 victory over the Sox.
