New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony linked up with DJ Khaled for some video games and cloth talk before the Nets game.

[dropcap]S[/dropcap]tay Melo, my friends. New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony does just that in a way not dissimilar to most of us- by playing Xbox. Granted, his gaming sessions might be a little different than yours.

The night before the Knicks preseason game with the Brooklyn Nets, Melo hosted an Xbox Gears of War 4 launch event in New York City. DJ Khaled, among others, turned out for the get-together at the Microsoft Loft. Check out the flicks below.

Getting paid to host an event (and by event, we mean play Gears of War 4 and tell your fans they should buy it) sure seems like winning. Melo and the Knicks hope to be as successful on the court in 2016-2017.

The Knicks kick the season off against the NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers, Tuesday, October 25th at 8pm on TNT. Hopefully, Khaled shared a few major keys on how to deal with Lebron James and Kyrie Irving.
