The Kansas City Royals were able to finish what they set out to do last year, earning them a world championship and a trip to the White House.
In a tradition major league baseball teams partake in, the Kansas City Royals — who won the Fall Classic over the New York Mets in five games last year — paid a visit to the White House.

Currently in the midst of a disappointing season which has them at .500 through 94 games, the Royals used their off day to reflect on a tremendous accomplishment.
When addressing the forceful playoff run, President Barack Obama — a Commander in Chief who knows his sports — addressed that, “In all, they had eight comeback wins in the playoffs which is a Major League record.”
