NCAAB: March Madness Is Exactly What’s Right With Sports

The greatest three weeks in sports are March Madness, and the early round upsets are exactly one reason why.

It’s March and the madness has sprung.
Michigan State Spartans? Purdue Boilermakers, West Virginia Mountaineers anyone?
Nope. Try Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders, Little Rock Trojans and Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks advancing to the next round.

That sound you hear? Oh just all the brackets in America hitting your nearby trashcans. Yup, it’s March Madness and it’s the greatest three weeks of the sports calendar.
I love the World Series and Stanley Cup Finals. The Super Bowl, as great of a winner-take-all that it is, only gets to captivate its audience for one night.
The thrill of March Madness is aplenty. Whether it’s the do-or-die aspect, school pride, out of this world, unpredictable upsets and many more exciting moments, there’s just nothing like March Madness.
Who will run off as the Cinderella this year? Looks like it’s open for everyone.
