The Mets will face the Braves for the second game of the Monday doubleheader after emerging victorious in the first matchup.

It was the Jacob deGrom show when the Mets ace took the mound Monday — did you expect anything different? The right-hander allowed just one hit and zero earned runs through five innings while striking out six batters and walking two. Behind his efforts along with a trio of RBIs from Dom Smith, the Mets defeated the Braves 4-2 in the first of two Monday matchups.

deGrom’s ERA, through 12 starts, is now an absurd 0.50.

The second game of the doubleheader will commence at 8:08 p.m. ET — the Mets look to construct a winning streak with righty Jerad Eickhoff taking the mound.
