Knicks Interested In Point Guards Eric Bledsoe, Ramon Sessions (Report)

According to Marc Berman of The New York Post, the Knicks are considering Eric Bledsoe and Ramon Sessions to be their next point guard.
[dropcap]D[/dropcap]espite using up nearly all of their cap space already in free agency, the New York Knicks haven’t given up on finding a veteran point guard this summer. According to Marc Berman of The New York Post, New York has inquired about Eric Bledsoe and Ramon Sessions. Finally moving Carmelo Anthony (likely to Houston) is still the top priority, but a move for Bledsoe would solve New York’s problems at point guard.
Right now, the depth chart is weak with just Ron Baker and rookie Frank Ntilikina on the roster. Frank’s a wild card and Baker’s more of a combo guard.
[sc name=”Knicks Center” ]Bledsoe, 27, is signed for two more seasons at $29.5 million. He’s the superior of the two players. It will take more for New York to land him.
However, Phoenix has shopped Bledsoe to teams in the past. It’s not unreasonable to think he could be moved.
Their lesser point guard Brandon Knight‘s a more likely option, though.
Sessions, 31, has a team-friendly contract that expires at the end of 2017-18. He’ll make just over $6 million in the upcoming season.
It should be easy to pick him up, but New York shouldn’t expect anything special from him.
