The Nets and Lakers are the favorites to meet in the NBA Finals this year and fans will get their first glimpse of action between these two teams on Thursday. Anthony Davis and Kevin Durant won’t be playing, but LeBron James is still ready to go toe to toe with Kyrie Irving and James Harden.
Here is the current line on Nets vs. Lakers at DraftKings Sportsbook:
Brooklyn Nets +2.5 (-109) // +114 // O 233 (-112)
Los Angeles Lakers -2.5 (-112) // -136 // U 233 (-109)
When it comes to online sports betting, New York is still working on legislation. But for all the Nets fans who still live in New Jersey, you are in luck. Bordering states like Pennsylvania and New Jersey have fully legalized online sports betting. Let’s take a look at some of our favorite player props for Nets-Lakers.

Nets vs. Lakers Player Props
Kyrie Irving & LeBron James Each Score 35+ Points
Kyrie Irving and LeBron James are the top scoring options for each team entering this game. For the Nets, Durant is out and Harden is playing the role of facilitator. As for the Lakers, James will need to step up the scoring in the wake of Davis’ absence.
LeBron should have a shot to go over 35 points with how porous this Nets defense can be. Brooklyn locked up the Suns in the second half of their game on Tuesday, but they are a far cry from a defensive juggernaut.

Joe Harris Over 2.5 Threes (-125)
Joe Harris is one of the best shooters in the NBA. Period. Full stop. Not long ago, Harris’ NBA future was uncertain, but he took advantage of a second chance in Brooklyn and never looked back.
Harris bettors will benefit from the fact that Durant is out of this game. That almost guarantees that Harris will be on the floor for close to 30 minutes. In his last 10 games, Harris has converted on three or more triples seven times.

James Harden Yes Triple-Double (+400)
We love the odds on this one. Harden already has four triple-doubles in just 16 games with the Nets and is putting up double-digit assists in his sleep. He has only posted nine or fewer assists twice in a Nets uniform. That means that rebounds are the only leg of this triple-double prop that should concern bettors.
Without Davis to scoop up rebounds, Harden should have a few more easy boards come his way. And if this is a close game, Harden is likely to play close to, if not more than 40 minutes.
DraftKings Sportsbook also has a triple-double from LeBron James listed at +375 odds. Either player has a chance to notch a triple-double with how fast the Nets play.
