The Knicks are on the up and up this season in their first year under new coach Tom Thibodeau. On Monday night, Thibs will go up against the team that gave him his start as a head coach — the Chicago Bulls. New York enters this game as the underdog, but they are not the pushover they have been in recent years. This team is different.
Here is the current line on Knicks vs. Bulls at DraftKings Sportsbook:
New York Knicks +4.5 (-109) // +148 // O 217.5 (-112)
Chicago Bulls -4.5 (-112) // -180 // U 217.5 (-109)

RJ Barrett To Score 25+ Points (+400)
Let’s ride the RJ Barrett train until the wheels fall off. The second-year wing is playing the best basketball of his NBA career and he’s about to go up against a porous Chicago defense. The Bulls rank 27th in the NBA in defensive rating (113.6) and Barrett has gone for 23 and 24 points in his last two games.
Obviously, 25+ points is a big ask considering the fact that Barrett has only done this four times all season, but he seems poised for a big breakout. Teams are going to be loading up to stop Julius Randle and Immanuel Quickley. That could open the door for a big game from Barrett.
If you are hesitant about grabbing Barrett on this one, his over on 17.5 points (-134) is the safer bet. The Duke product is averaging 18.0 points per game this season.

Julius Randle 2+ Made Threes (+174) + Julius Randle Over 5.5 Assists (+104)
FanDuel Sportsbook’s Same Game Parlays are one of the best deals around. For Monday night’s tilt between the Knicks and the Bulls, let’s go with a Julius Randle two-leg parlay. Although Randle has not been a good three-point shooter historically, he’s stroking it with confidence. The potential All-Star hit four of his five threes against the Clippers on Sunday and he should have a few open looks from deep against this sub-par Bulls defense.
The over on his assists is the much better bet here. Randle is averaging six assists per game and he’s finally living up to the role of “point forward” that the Knicks envisioned for him when he signed during the summer of 2019.
A $10 bet on this FanDuel Sportsbook Same Game Parlay pays out $34.85.

Reggie Bullock Over 1.5 Threes (+110)
Reggie Bullock is healthy again and he is back in the starting lineup. Although he isn’t the first or second option in the starting lineup, he represents the only knockdown three-point shooter of the group. With the penetration of Julius Randle, RJ Barrett, and Elfrid Payton plus the lob gravity of Mitchell Robinson, Bullock usually gets at least three or four open looks from beyond the arc every game.
Lately, Bullock has been money on these looks. He has connected on multiple threes in four of his last five games and he’s shooting 36% from deep on the season. He bounced back after a slow start to the year. With plus odds on this player prop, it’s a smart bet.
