The New York Knicks have officially unveiled their Statement Edition uniforms for the upcoming 2019-20 season.
The NBA regular season is upon us, as the first two games will occur on Tuesday of this week. Matchups will feature the New Orleans Pelicans at the Toronto Raptors as well as the Los Angeles Lakers at the Los Angeles Clippers.
The New York Knicks begin their 82-game slate on Wednesday, traveling to San Antonio to take on the Spurs at 8:30 p.m. ET. To get fans hyped for the upcoming season, one where they try to improve mightily from their 17-win campaign last year, the Knicks have unveiled their Statement Edition uniforms.

The Knicks have also made the new jerseys available for purchase at the MSG Team Store.
In the announcement of the new jersey, the organization wrote, “This is more than a jersey. It’s a statement. Inspired by the hustle and strength of our city and team. Where heritage design meets bold new trends. We’ll wear it with pride and defend it with toughness.”
It’s unclear which games the Knicks will decide to portray themselves in these sweet new uniforms. Teams that have unveiled new Statement Edition uniforms for the upcoming season also include the Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, and Brooklyn Nets.
The Knicks will sport the uniforms with many new faces than last season. New York has added the likes of Julius Randle, Marcus Morris, Taj Gibson and Elfrid Payton through free agency and RJ Barrett and Ignas Brazdeikis through the draft.
