The New York Knicks will be without their backup center, Bobby Portis, in Monday’s preseason opener in D.C.

The New York Knicks will finally open up their preseason slate of games against the Washington Wizards on Monday night (7:00 p.m. ET).

Unfortunately, they will be without center Bobby Portis. According to the team, Portis will miss the game with a contused left rib.

Portis is joining a long list of Knicks who will be out on Monday. Dennis Smith Jr., Damyean Dotson, Amir Hinton, Kadeem Allen, and Reggie Bullock will all miss the game for various reasons.
