Former NFL quarterback Brett Favre posted and then deleted an Instagram post that stated he was coming back to play in 2020.

Wow, I thought we were done with this whole “is Brett Favre retiring or not?” thing back in 2011.

On Tuesday, Favre posted and then deleted an Instagram post that stated he was returning to football in 2020. The former NFL quarterback has retired and then come back numerous times, and he’s joked about it as well in multiple commercials.

Surely, it’s fake and Favre is just playing a joke on us. But then again, it’s Favre. He could actually be that crazy as to think he could come back and play football at what would be 50-years-old in 2020.

Favre last played for the Minnesota Vikings in 2010. He previously played for the Green Bay Packers, the New York Jets, and the Atlanta Falcons, who drafted him.

Favre still holds the record for most consecutive starts as an NFL quarterback with 297. The Manning brothers are behind him in second and third place, with Eli having a streak of 210 and Peyton having a streak of 208.
