New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. posts cryptic tweet following Jay Glazer’s prediction that he will be traded.

This past week, NFL analyst Jay Glazer predicted that New York Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. would be traded this offseason.

This gained various responses from fans who want the Giants to keep OBJ, but also from others who think parting ways with the three-time Pro Bowler would be the best move.

After Glazer’s prediction was made public, OBJ had some words on twitter. Well, not exactly words, rather emojis.

This could mean anything, to be honest.

Is he saying that he’s keeping his mouth shut? Is he telling Glazer to keep his mouth shut? Who knows. What we do know, however, is that Giants GM Dave Gettleman isn’t siding towards trading him for right now.

Gettleman addressed the question at his “State of the Giants” press conference following the conclusion of the regular season. He stated that Big Blue didn’t “sign him to trade him,” and many are hoping that attitude continues throughout this entire offseason. The Giants just signed the star receiver to a five-year, $90 million contract prior to the 2018 regular season.

Beckham didn’t have his greatest season in the NFL this past year, but he did put up decent numbers. The 26-year old out of LSU collected 77 receptions for 1,052 yards and six touchdowns through 12 games. He missed the last four games of the regular season due to a quad injury.

Everyone has opinions and predictions on what’s going to happen in the offseason. However, let’s all hope Glazer is wrong with his prediction.

Gettleman makes a lot of sense when discussing trading someone you just signed. You can’t invest all that money into someone and then turn around and trade him the following year. If that were to happen, Beckham would come back to haunt them in one way or another.
