New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. spends an insane amount of cash on his body during the offseason.

Seems like the $95 million contract extension Odell Beckham Jr. signed in the offseason is put to good use.

In his weekly docu-series: “I AM MORE: OBJ,” the New York Giants receiver mentioned he spends over $300K on his body in the offseason. This involves maintaining health internally and externally, as he strives to have a very long career in the NFL.

In those regards, it had to be especially difficult for the star receiver this past year. He spent the majority of last season and the offseason rehabbing his broken ankle which he sustained in October of 2017. The injury sidelined him for the majority of the 2017 regular season.

Beckham receives motivation from guys who have thrived in the NFL for years. These include players such as Tom Brady, Drew Brees, and even his own quarterback, Eli Manning. If you’re in the NFL for that long, you must be doing something right with your body, and OBJ takes note of that.

“I take care of my body each and every day. I put, probably, over $300,000 in my body in the offseason,” Beckham said. “It’s a lot to upkeep. I don’t ever want to decline.”

Beckham strives to get better and better each year that he’s in the league. Through 12 games this year, he has 77 receptions for 1052 yards and six touchdowns. Not to mention, he’s also thrown two touchdowns this season, one to running back Saquon Barkley and one to wide receiver Russell Shepard. He should make the Pro Bowl this year, and believes he could be even better in the future.

“I feel like next year I’ll be even better,” the former LSU Tiger said. If he’s this dedicated to maintaining his body, he’ll be a nightmare for defensive backs for years to come.”
