Mitchell Robinson and Frank Ntilikina are starting to develop chemistry, evidenced by Robinson’s thunderous slam of a dime from Ntilikina.

The youth movement is fully underway in New York. Mitchell Robinson and Frank Ntilikina are leading the charge for the New York Knicks and the two combined for a ridiculous highlight-reel dunk. Robinson’s ability to adjust his body in midair is exceptional and Frank throws the perfect pass to thread the needle.

These are the types of plays that led to Fizdale’s decision to put Robinson in the starting lineup with Ntilikina at point guard. Robinson’s showing so much promise that he even has his coach rethinking the plan to have Robinson play some games in the G League.

There are still some major holes to fill in his game, but Robinson is already showing flashes of brilliance as a 20-year-old. He’s been a productive and impactful player so far this season and the sky is the limit.

If Ntilikina continues to hit his stride as a primary ballhandler, Fizdale’s starting group would include length at two key positions. As long as they continue to make plays like this, Ntilikina and Robinson’s starting spots look secure.
