The New York Knicks will reportedly work out Aaron Holiday next week. Holiday is projected as a mid-to-late first-round selection.

The New York Knicks draft workouts have mostly been related to what the team might do with the No. 9 pick, but they also have the No. 36 pick via the Carmelo Anthony trade. It appears New York is scheduling workouts for players who they could take in that spot as well.

SNY’s Adam Zagoria reports that the Knicks are planning to work out former UCLA Bruins point guard Aaron Holiday. Per Zagoria, the workout is scheduled for next Monday.

Holiday’s brothers, Justin and Jrue, both play in the NBA. Justin spent the 2016-17 season as one of New York’s most valuable players. The Ringer’s latest mock has Holiday going 30th to Atlanta while ESPN’s latest has him at 19. New York will probably need to trade up or get a little lucky to have a shot at Holiday with their Melo pick.

Holiday had a breakout season as a junior at UCLA. He received first-team All-Pac-12 honors as well as all-defensive honors in the conference. The 21-year-old posted career-high averages of 37.7 minutes, 20.3 points, 5.8 assists, and 3.7 rebounds per game on a slash line of .461/.429/.828.
