The Oakland Raiders, who will be moving to Las Vegas shortly, wished the Golden Knights good luck as the Stanley Cup Final begins Monday night.
The Oakland Raiders took a full page ad out in the Las Vegas Review-Journal to say good luck to the Vegas Golden Knights in the Stanley Cup Final. The Raiders have not relocated to Las Vegas just yet, but took the time to wish their soon-to-be sports teammates well as they prepare to face the Washington Capitals Monday night.

ESPN’s Arash Markazi also confirmed via his Twitter account that Raiders owner Mark Davis will be at T-Mobile arena on Monday to watch Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final.
The Raiders, who are trying to create a relationship with the current professional sports teams in Sin City, also took the time to welcome the Las Vegas Aces of the WNBA. The Aces kicked off their first season in Las Vegas on Sunday as Davis was courtside for their home opener.

The Raiders new stadium will be built across from the Mandalay Bay Hotel before the 2020 season begins.
Three years ago, the Vegas Golden Knights were just a thought. A year ago, the team didn’t have any players to speak of. On Monday night, they will host Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final.
What an incredible path they’ve traveled.
On top of that, the city of Las Vegas will have three professional sports teams once the Raiders kick off their NFL season in the fall of 2020. If the fanbase of the Vegas Golden Knights is an indicator of what the Raiders can expect, the team and the city are in for a spectacular show.
Las Vegas, Nevada is not only the gambling capital of the world anymore. It may also be home of the defending Stanley Cup Champions.
