Bucks Owner's Daughter: 'I Wanna Buy the Knicks!' (Dad Can Keep the Bucks) https://t.co/XgC3UG4FaJ

Mallory Edens, daughter of Bucks co-owner Wes Edens, tells TMZ she wants to buy the New York Knicks one day.
New York Knicks fans would love for anyone other than James Dolan to be the owner of their team. Despite all the losing, they remain the league’s most valuable franchise at over $3 billion.
Apparently, that attracted the attention of Mallory Edens. She’s the daughter of Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Wes Edens, and she wants to buy the Knicks one day (via TMZ).
This is not the first time Edens has made news related to the Knicks. Following Phil Jackson’s public admission that he was listening to trade offers for Kristaps Porzingis, she recruited the unicorn to Milwaukee via her Twitter account.

“Okay I was like 90% kidding but this is just nuts. @kporzee we got a plane heading from NYC to MKE tmrw afternoon if u need a ride,” Edens tweeted, along with three kissy face emojis.
Edens tells TMZ she isn’t interested in taking over for her father. “My dad can keep the Bucks.”
She also discussed the lack of female presence in sports as being one of the reasons she’d like to be involved.
“I think women are hugely underrepresented in sports,” said Edens, who was raised in New York. “There are not female GMs [general managers], like one team president who is a woman in the NBA. There’s no female head coaches, you know hopefully [San Antonio Spurs assistant coach] Becky Hammon gets a head coaching job somewhere, but there’s never been a female commissioner in any of the four major American sports leagues.”
All this talk is probably irrelevant. Unfortunately for Knicks fans, James Dolan isn’t selling the team anytime soon. With their luck, he may never.
