Ntilikina isn’t used to the spotlight yet. He was invisible during the NBA draft process due to his European team being the playoffs.
Playing in New York will be a tremendous adjustment for the youngster. He just turned 19 on July 28, so he must have a lot of growing up to do.
This is only one of the many types of media events that Frank Ntilikina should expect to face during his time in New York. Fortunately, he should have the 7-foot-3 Kristaps Porzingis to show him the ropes.
The unicorn went through all this and more when he was a rookie. The expectations were even higher for Porzingis. They have a lot in common; both coming over to the league with prior professional experience and being drafted as teenagers.
