New York Knicks shooting guard Tim Hardaway Jr. found the right workout partner in the legendary Dwyane Wade.
Tim Hardaway Jr. just signed a $71 million contract and he’s taking a lot of criticism for it. If he wants to get better then he found the right man to help, legendary shooting guard Dwyane Wade.
Wade, a good friend of current Hardaway teammate Carmelo Anthony, calls the new Knicks shooting guard his “lil bro” in an Instagram post on Tuesday. The future Hall of Famer claims he and Hardaway worked out last week in Los Angeles.
Wade, 35, is coming off arguably his worst NBA season last year with the Chicago Bulls. Right now, it looks like he’ll return to Chicago for another season (and make $23 million) to lose a ton of games.
That doesn’t mean he isn’t a great role model for the young Hardaway. Wade’s a three-time NBA champion, a 12-time All-Star, and perhaps most importantly he was voted to the all-NBA defensive team three times.

There’s no better two guard on earth that Hardaway can learn defense from than Dwyane Wade.
