Earlier today, Adrian Beltre joined an elite club that consists of only 30 other members in MLB history, when he recorded his 3000th career hit.
During a Sunday game against the Baltimore Orioles, Adrian Beltre doubled off pitcher Wade Miley on a 3-0 count.

With this hit Beltre has now become the only Dominican-born player to transcend the milestone, and only the fifth born out of the United States.
Who were the other four you ask? None other than Ichiro Suzuki, Roberto Clemente, Rafael Palmeiro, and Rod Carew.
Beltre joins George Brett and Wade Boggs as the only third basemen to accomplish this feat.
Furthermore, he joins Hank Aaron, Stan Musial, Carl Yastrzemski and Cal Ripken Jr. as the only players to record 3000 hits, 400 home runs, and 600 doubles in their career.
Four players have 3,000+ hits, 600+ doubles and 450+ HR:
