Wednesday, Andre Roberson inked a new three-year, $30 million deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Thursday, he tipped less than three percent on a $500 tab.

Roberson and 12 of his friends went to the Chupacabra Cantina restaurant in Austin, Texas Wednesday night, racking up a $487.13 bill. Rather than share his newfound wealth with others, Roberson left a $13.97 tip, which is less than three percent of the bill.

If that wasn’t bad enough, Roberson was apparently trying to make the final bill an even $500, according to TMZ and as shown in the bill itself. Twitter let the swingman know that he missed the mark.

So Andre, why leave such a low tip? We know you had the money to leave a proper tip, even before signing your new, lucrative multi-year deal.

Roberson took to Twitter to answer that question, saying that he only bought one bottle at the bar and that there was no service.

The 25-year-old returned to Twitter roughly an hour later and tried to change the subject.

Roberson averaged a career-high 6.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game last season. Over four years with OKC, he has averaged 4.5 points and 3.9 rebounds per game.

Let’s hope that Roberson leaves a bigger tip next time he goes to a bar or restaurant cause he is able to leave a proper tip.
