The New York Knicks met with NC State’s Dennis Smith Jr. but didn’t give the point guard much of a workout.
With two weeks remaining until the 2017 NBA draft, the New York Knicks are zeroing in on their targets. This week they met with former North Carolina State point guard Dennis Smith Jr.According to Adam Zagoria of Zagsblogs.com, Knicks president Phil Jackson had dinner with Smith on Monday night.
However, there wasn’t much of a workout. With two weeks left before the draft New York likely already knows where they stand with Smith.

Jackson and his staff have watched countless hours of tape on the dynamic lead guard. All that’s left now is to bring in his competition.
Marc Berman of The New York Post reports that the Knicks are waiting on Frank Ntilikina‘s club team to be knocked out of the playoffs before they can work him out.
It will be interesting to see if the Knicks’ workouts with Malik Monk or Ntilkina are more serious.
