Mike Francesa provided one of the better hot takes of the sports world on Monday when he discussed Steph Curry’s game two antics.

Mike Francesa now seems to enjoy hot takes more than hot cakes.

The long time WFAN host called Steph Curry “classless” and stated he acts “like a clown on the court” during Monday’s show. Fair assessment or knee jerk reaction?

Curry plays with subtle confidence and a swagger that can be portrayed as arrogance. However, when you’ve won an MVP and a world championship, you’ve earned the right to play with an edge.

The NBA Finals are an emotional round of games filled with raucous arenas and vibrant player personalities. Curry let his play do the talking for most of the night as the Warriors routed the Cavaliers again in game two.

To be fair, Curry and James for the better part of their careers have been mostly humble in victory and neither has been involved in any serious off the court incidents. Both players have served as terrific ambassadors for the NBA which is why you can find both of their jerseys as some of the game’s top sellers on a year to year basis.

Maybe Curry is a little more flamboyant than players of year’s past, but the game has evolved. For what it’s worth, both players are fairly charitable off the court, also.
