New York Knicks

The New York Knicks aren’t the only team interested in point guard Frank Ntilikina. Other lottery teams have reportedly scouted him.

French point guard Frank Ntilikina is one of the most popular players in the 2017 NBA Draft. His international status makes him an enigma and his age (18) perfect for a rebuilding project. The New York Knicks were instantly hooked.

General manager Steve Mills flew out to France to watch Ntilikina play in person. Clearly, the Knicks are serious about this kid. However, they aren’t the only ones.

According to Jonathan Wasserman of Bleacher Report, three other teams have scouted Ntilikina on the same level as the Knicks.

Wasserman says that the Mavericks, Sixers, and Kings have all scouted Ntilikina in France as much as the Knicks have. It sounds like it’s a four-way race between these teams for the youngster.

The Sixers have the third pick and are likely to use it on a prospect that is rated higher so New York shouldn’t have to worry about them.

The Mavericks (9th) and the Kings (10th) both pick after the Knicks so they’d need to trade up to snag Frank before New York could get their hands on him.

If the Knicks want Frank, they look to be the odds-on favorite as of now, but anything can happen on draft night.
