When it comes to NBA DFS for Monday, Mar. 13, 2017, just remember that big minutes equals big money. There’s plenty of opportunity this day.

We are now in the final few weeks of the NBA season and teams are still batting for playoff spots. The good thing is that the top teams are trying to get the number one seed and they should be playing their starters. For the teams fighting for a playoff spot, they are playing their star’s big minutes. For the teams that are out of the playoffs, they are playing their young players a ton of minutes.

In tournaments now, you must have a mixture of young players and all stars to help you win tournaments. The theme for tonight’s slate, big minutes’ equals big pay day.

Good luck tonight everyone.

Point Guard:

Giannis Antetokounmpo vs Memphis Grizzles

The Greek Freak is starting to heat up and he’s doing so at the perfect time. He is now under 10K on draft kings because of the match-up and that is too cheap for him. He is averaging 40 minutes a night over the last three games and the Bucks need to win every game possible to stay in the playoffs. Giannis is a great building block for Monday.

Chris Paul vs Utah Jazz

CP3 is way too cheap on draft kings at 8,200. The Jazz are a good defensive team but their strength on defense is their bigs and not their guards. Most DFS players run away when they see the Jazz but I will attack them tonight with CP3 and enjoy the low ownership.

D’Angelo Russell vs Denver Nuggets

Russell is benefitting from the Lakers playing their young players a ton of minutes. He is averaging over 30 minutes and over 35 draft kings points in the last five games. Good DFS players attack Denver guards every night they play and tonight it is no different. If you play Russell make sure you stack him with Julius Randle.

Shooting Guard:

Nicolas Batum vs Chicago Bulls

Batum is a very under rated DFS player. He plays big minutes, gives you stats in every category and now gets a Bulls team that has given up. He reaches value almost every night and is usually under owned especially for how consistent he is. Play Batum tonight because shoot guard is weak.

Gary Harris vs Los Angeles Lakers

Gary Harris is at a good price point and has received 34 minutes or more in seven of his last eight games. Minutes equal daily fantasy success. The Nuggets and Lakers game will be fast paced and high scoring. Game stacking this game would be a great way to earn some money tonight.

Tony Snell vs Memphis Grizzles

Snell is not very good at basketball but he gets minutes and is only 4000 on DK. He has been playing better lately and he might go less than 2 percent owned because this game is going to be painful to watch. He doesn’t have to do much to reach value and that is all I am looking for him to do. He is a play to help free up salary at other positions.

Feb 4, 2017; Minneapolis, MN, USA; Minnesota Timberwolves forward Andrew Wiggins (22) talks with Memphis Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph (towel over shoulder on bench) during the fourth quarter at Target Center. Randolph had previously fouled out of the game. The Grizzlies won 107-99. Mandatory Credit: Jeffrey Becker-USA TODAY Sports

Small Forward:

Andrew Wiggins vs Washington Wizards

Wiggins has been struggling lately and he is too good to keep that up. He has only scored over 30 DK points once in his last five games which has made his price drop. He was 8,200 five games ago and now he is 7100. Whenever I can get a player at below market value, I will jump all over it. This game has the making of a shoot-out and if it is, Wiggins will be a big part of it

Brandon Ingram vs Denver Nuggets

Ingram is still cheap and is still receiving 35 plus minutes. This is a fast-paced game and with Ingram being on the court for three quarters of it, he must be in your lineups. Don’t expect elite production but if he happens to go off, you will win your tournament.

Power Forward:

Karl-Anthony Towns vs Washington Wizards

KAT is good at basketball and he is showing why he will win an MVP soon. This will be a high scoring game and there isn’t a big man on the Wizards who can stop KAT. Working out with Sasquatch has paid off for him.

Blake Griffin vs Utah Jazz

He is in the same boat as Chris Paul. His price tag is too low for a player of his caliber. If Derrick Favors is sitting out, he is an automatic start. Blake does too much on the court and is too good of a player to not play at 8300 on draft kings. This game will be low scoring but with CP3 and Blake, they will still get theirs.

Paul Millsap vs San Antonio Spurs

He is like Blake and CP3, his price tag is too low and his upside is too high not to play him at 6900. The Spurs can be without Kawhi and Aldridge for the game and if that’s the case he will have David Lee or Pau Gasol guarding him. Play CP3, Blake and Millsap and you will have three players who are drastically underpriced.

Feb 10, 2017; New York, NY, USA; Denver Nuggets power forward Nikola Jokic (15) moves against New York Knicks center Kyle O’Quinn (9) during the first quarter at Madison Square Garden. Mandatory Credit: Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

Center:

Nikola Jokic vs Los Angeles Lakers

Jokic should win the NBA’s most improved player and he should be in your lineup every night he plays. He is match-up proof and he is showing the Nuggets that he will be their franchise player for years to come. The Lakers have nobody to defend him in the post, he has had some great stat lines this year, but tonight might be his best all year.

Cody Zeller vs Chicago Bulls

The theme for tonight continues, he is receiving a lot of minutes and he is too cheap to ignore. Side show bob (Robin Lopez) is a decent rim protector but he won’t be on the court the whole time Zeller is. At 5100 and he is projected to play close to 35 minutes tonight, he is a must start.

Marc Gasol vs Milwaukee Bucks

The Bucks are horrible down low on defense. The offense runs through Gaso; and at 7300, he is at a good price. The slow pace of this game will scare people away but with all the money you are saving tonight, you can have him in your lineup and feel confident in his production.
