It’s trade deadline week, and the New York Knicks are active as always. Reserves Brandon Jennings and Kyle O’Quinn are on the block.
The New York Knicks are active at the trade deadline. Even if stars Carmelo Anthony and Derrick Rose stay put, two of New York’s key reserves could be on the moves.
According to Ian Begley of ESPN New York, Brandon Jennings and Kyle O’Quinn are drawing interestest from opposing teams. Jennings is on an expiring contract and O’Quinn is signed for next season at a manageable $4 million.
Frank Isola of The New York Daily News reported the Knicks are looking to get a first-round pick for O’Quinn.

In a loaded draft like this, the team shouldn’t settle for less. The Nets just got a first for Bojan Bogdanovic, and he’s the same age as O’Quinn with a slightly smaller salary.
