It seems as if talks to resolve this whole Charles Oakley/James Dolan fiasco are gaining momentum to potentially repair things for the New York Knicks.

According to Ian Begley of ESPN, there has been “some momentum toward a resolution” between Charles Oakley and New York Knicks owner James Dolan. It is unknown whether or not the two have spoken since the infamous incident last week at MSG.

Oakley is currently still banned from entering Madison Square Garden, but there is a strong interest between the two sides to bring this major dispute to an end.

The Knicks representatives declined to comment on Monday when asked about a potential resolution to the whole Oakley/Dolan saga.

This whole fiasco has only gotten worse from last week when Charles Oakley was arrested and banned from MSG, Knicks owner James Dolan has made offensive remarks regarding Oakley since then calling him an “abusive alcoholic”.

For the sake of everyone involved in the Knicks organization and fanbase, hopefully this situation can be resolved sooner rather than later so the team’s main focus can go back to the play on the court rather than drama on the sidelines.
