An erroneous pass off the stick of Jiri Hudler resulted in a Dallas Stars own goal.

That’s ruff.

The Dallas Stars, led by head coach Lindy Ruff, hit new lows after an erroneous pass off the stick of Jiri Hudler drifted into their own net during a delayed penalty.

The ‘Sheriffs’ are losers of three straight, and handed Chris Kelly inarguably the easiest goal of his career. By contrast, the Ducks have tallied five goals in their past four games, so anything goes.

The Sens trail San Jose by eight points for the top spot in the Atlantic division. Meanwhile, Dallas’ miserable campaign has them near the bottom of the Western Conference.

In other news… The Islanders defeated the Flyers, 3-0, to move to within one point of the last Wild Card in the East…. The ‘Nucks blanked the Blue Jackets; if the Penguins win, they’ll move into second place… The Rangers endured a furious comeback and notched their fourth consecutive win.
