This is how BAD it's gotten for the #Knicks. Brandon Jennings is playing solitaire with the coach's board. pic.twitter.com/0vPqHu0wCZ

It’s gotten so bad for the New York Knicks that point guard Brandon Jennings is drawing up plays on the bench while the Pelicans cruise.
Tougher times have been experienced with this franchise. We’re smart enough to realize that.
For some reason, however, it just doesn’t feel like it.
Perhaps it was the blockbuster offseason Phil Jackson brought us. Maybe it was the fact Kristaps Porzingis was entering his sophomore season and Carmelo Anthony was understanding few chances to reach the playoffs again were fading away. Whatever it was, we expected much more from the New York Knicks.
Not only are the Knickerbockers getting pummelled at home by the less than stellar New Orleans Pelicans (that’ll place their record at 17-21), but Derrick Rose can’t be found anywhere.
Nobody knows where D-Rose went. He simply vanished out of thin air.
Reports are surfacing that he was upset about a recent fourth-quarter benching, but the true facts for why he wasn’t dressed and on the bench on Monday night are not yet known.
It’s gotten so bad for this team that the Knicks other point guard, Brandon Jennings, is drawing up plays for himself on the bench — all by himself (video above).
Who does this? Unless you’re in your dorm room looking to beat a kid from China in NBA 2K17, you’re not drawing up basketball plays by yourself.
It’ll be tough to break the news to B-Jennings, but whatever ingenious play he drew up won’t solve New York’s pitiful woes at the moment.
