Ian Begley of ESPN New York has an injury update on New York Knicks starters Joakim Noah (ankle) and Courtney Lee (ankle).

Update:

Per Ian Begley, Joakim Noah will start tonight against the Kings. Justin Holiday will start in Courtney Lee’s Place.

New York Knicks starters Joakim Noah and Courtney Lee were banged up this week. Lee missed Friday’s game against the Timberwolves, and Noah was out for both games against his old coach.

On Saturday Ian Begley of ESPN New York reported that Noah returned to practice while Lee was held out. Today Begley provided a further update on the condition on the ailing veterans.

Noah is available to play tonight for the Knicks. No word yet on if he will be the starter.

Lee is out for the second straight game. Justin Holiday will likely start in his place for the second straight game.

Holiday logged 31 minutes against the Twolves on Friday and scored 13 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, and 3 steals.

The Knicks welcome the Sacramento Kings to Madison Square Garden Sunday night at 7:30 p.m. ET.
