New York Knicks fresh-faced rookie Mindaugas Kuzminskas threw one down with authority against the T-Wolves at the Garden Friday night.
Exactly how old is this kid? The back of the basketball card says 27-years of age, but we think that may be a typo.
One glance at New York Knicks rookie Mindaugas Kuzminskas would fool you as well.
Not only is the fresh-faced rookie from Lithuania partaking in crunch-time minutes for Jeff Hornacek, he’s excelling in his bench role this season. And not only is he drilling threes left and right, he’s throwing down monster dunks on the opposition.
One of these monster dunks was on full display Friday night.
With Karl-Anthony Towns and the Minnesota Timberwolves in town, Kuzminskas took a Sasha Vujacic pass on the wing, took his time from a classic triple-threat stance and drove to the basket with a right hand. He then threw it in the face of the T-Wolves (video above).
With the two teams resting at halftime, Kooz (as the kids call him) has those two points, one rebound, and one assist in 10 minutes of action. His Knicks lead 62-52.
