Conor McGregor and Fan Engage in Instagram War

Looks like even after defeating Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205, Conor McGregor still has another opponent to worry about in a fan on Instagram.

Last week, a fan of Conor McGregor, Erin Safran, ran into the Irish-born star and snapped a picture for social media. Little did either side know the battle that this would turn into.

Safran posted the picture to her Instagram account to show the world that she met the man himself in flesh. McGregor would also return the favor to the fan. Well … sort of.

As shown above, the multiple-time champion would, in fact, repost the photo to his own page. It just it seems like something is missing. Oh, that’s right, he cropped out the fan and her friend.

It’s not very surprising that Safran didn’t take this very well and took her frustrations to social media to fire back at the champ:

So, who won this social media battle between Conor McGregor and the fan? The edge would have to go to Safran but just like in the octagon, never count Conor McGregor out.
