Just another example of why NYC hoops fans are the best in the business as they get all over New York Knicks’ Carmelo Anthony for dribbling.
It doesn’t matter the game started at 12 p.m. ET on a football Sunday in Manhattan. New York City hoops fans are always on point.
Take a gander at the video above. More importantly, take a listen.
With Carmelo Anthony doing a little too much dribbling without getting into a more feasible isolation situation, the Madison Square Garden crowd noticed. They got all over Melo for the dribbling and no ball movement.
Melo decided to shut them up, anyway, with a long two-point dagger.
The smart Garden crowd sees what’s happening. They see Derrick Rose‘s first steps and the entire offense moving the ball flawlessly. It’s led to Kristaps Porzingis pouring in 14 points including 3-4 from 3-point land.
Non #Knicks fans just can't fathom what this fanbase is feeling right now going from Jose Calderon to Derrick Rose. pic.twitter.com/OCYDrZvdT9

Melo, despite the crowd’s uneasiness at times, has also started hot with 10 points on 5-6 from the floor.
New York will take a 30-20 lead into the 2nd-quarter.
