With the New York Knicks home opener on Saturday night, first-time Knickerbockers Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah get introduced.
With Saturday night’s home opener at Madison Square Garden for the New York Knicks, comes new and interesting things. One of which is the first introductions of Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah to the Garden faithful.
MSG, as its prone to do, put together an opening season spectacle second to none. Once the Knicks City Dancers and the light show was complete, the entire roster plus the starting lineup was introduced.
The biggest ovation, other than for Carmelo Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis, came for Hell’s Kitchen’s Noah (video above).
The Knickerbockers are currently thrashing the Memphis Grizzlies by double-digits with the first quarter nearing its conclusion.
Courtney Lee has the hottest hand. He’s connected on all four of his shots for a quick nine points. Next is Melo who’s poured in five points.
