In the New York Knicks second to last preseason game, in Boston against the Celtics on Wednesday night, Kristaps Porzingis is going off.
Tonight at Boston Garden — otherwise presently known as the TD Garden — New York Knicks young stud Kristaps Porzingis is going off.
Through two quarters of play (including a few minutes of the third quarter), young Porzingis has poured in 18 points on a very efficient 6-of-10 from the floor. He’s also chipped in with a rebound and an assist.
Early in the first quarter, KP showed how undefendable he could be on this quick high-post dribble step-back:
How is a defender supposed to stop this? Unless you deny that high post hard, it's IMPOSSIBLE to defend. #Knicks #Porzingis@Krisplashed pic.twitter.com/nP5Ho3J7XE

Later in the game he showcased his stellar defensive prowess by keeping up with a much smaller player in open space:
Is this guy serious defending in the open court like this at 7'3''? C-Lee finishes with a nice jump-stop. #Knicks #Prozingis@Krisplashed pic.twitter.com/8y7EEZ3LM4

He then padded his stat line with this rejection, one Willy Hernangomez, his good buddy, followed up for good measure:
It's a BLOCK PARTY for Porzingis and Hernangomez.#Knicks@Krisplashed @ChipperMurphy pic.twitter.com/4cAfMa8DdZ

Along with his two blocks on the night, Porzingis is an incredible +11.
The currently hold a double-digit lead early in the third quarter.
