Meet Paige Spiranac. She’s been touted as the “hottest female golfer in the world” by many. And it’s not hard to see why. One click on her Instagram account is all the evidence needed.
Over 750K followers on the Gram, and Spiranac feels a bit cursed, according to UK Golf Magazine Bunkered:
“When I first turned pro, I think a lot of people thought I was going to be so much better than I was because of my social media profile,” said Paige. “They see somebody posting lots of pictures, getting into the public eye, attracting a following and they assume I’m going to be a great player.”
After Spiranac experienced a poor showing in her first pro tournament in Dubai, she claimed that she’d take a break from social media, as the Instagram fame has been both a blessing and a curse.
In the end, though, Paige stayed true to her Instagram ways, and I think it’s safe to say, many fans are thankful, for obvious reasons:
