UFC 200 no longer had the suspended Jon Jones involved, but that didn’t stop Daniel Cormer and Brock Lesnar from stealing the show.
Although that pesky Jon Jones positive drug test was a downer, the show must go on. And on, it did.
The top highlights of UFC 200 resulted in one boring match that actually saw boos reign down from the crowd, and another with a beast making his grand return to the octagon.
Miesha Tate vs. Amanda Nunes, (submission, Round 1, 3:16)
We have a new UFC women’s bantamweight champion: Amanda Nunes.
Nunes: I’ve worked so hard for this moment in my life. I feel amazing. Now I’m going back to Brazil to visit my family.

Cormier defeats Silva, (unanimous decision, 30-27, 30-26, 30-26)
The boring match of the night came when light heavyweight champ Daniel Cormier retained his belt by successfully outlasting MMA great Anderson Silva. The entire match was basically Cormier out-wrestling Silva, which prompted the chorus of boos. Considering Silva had just two days to prepare, a giant kudos needs to be provided.
