It appears the era of Dwyane Wade in Miami is over. Reports are indicating he will sign with the Chicago Bulls.

Could it possibly be true that the era of Dwyane Wade with the Miami Heat finally be over?

It now appears that way. After three NBA Championships and five finals appearances, reports are indicating he will, indeed, sign on with the Chicago Bulls.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports (and The Vertical), Wade has informed officials that he’ll play in Chicago next season.

Brian Windhorst of ESPN is claiming that Chicago is in the process of clearing the cap space needed to fit the 34-year old veteran.

Wade, the 2005-06 NBA Finals MVP, is a 12-time NBA All-Star and was born in Chicago. Wade attended Richards high school in Oak Lawn, Illinois, so if these recent reports are true, much like his friend LeBron James two seasons ago, he will be returning home.
