Draymond Green extended his foot to a place that can make another man cry. Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams was in obvious pain.
The Golden State Warriors aren’t often regarded as a dirty team. However, forward Draymond Green blatantly kicked Oklahoma City center Steven Adams in the reproductive organ region.
Ouch.
What did Adams ever do to you, Draymond? The Thunder dominated the first half, but that’s no excuse to let your frustrations get the better of you.
The Warriors breezed through the season until they met a motivated OKC team. Maybe a little adversity causes these Warriors to behave, um, differently?
It’s an emotional game, I get that. But we’re talking about another man’s family jewels here. You got an issue? Throw a few elbows, shove him, or he’s a crazy idea–step your game up.
The Warriors are strangers to tough times, but it’s hard to defend Green on a play like this. Could he face a fine or a suspension from Adam Silver? Maybe. Time will tell.
I think it’s safe to say the rest of this series is going be more than interesting.
