Kyle Lowry Forces Overtime Against Miami Heat With Half-Court Prayer (Video)

The Toronto Raptors’ prayers were answered on Tuesday night as Kyle Lowry drilled this ridiculous half-court heave to force overtime.

Sometimes, prayers get answered even in Toronto.

With Drake looking on (of course), the Toronto Raptors needed a miracle with just a few ticks remaining in regulation.

They trailed by three points in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals to Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat.

With Toronto trailing 90-87 and needing to go the full length of the court, point guard and NBA All-Star Kyle Lowry answered those Toronto prayers.

As you can easily see from the above video, not only did Lowry have to go the full length of the court, but he mishandled the ball initially prior to heaving up a half-court shot that miraculously dropped.

Although the bucket forced overtime, Miami has scored the only eight points of the extra session. They currently lead 98-90 with just 1:16 remaining.
