Chicago Bulls @ New York Knicks: Preview, Tweets, News

After riding Kristaps Porzingis to a road win, the New York Knicks will go for a sweep in the second game of a home-and-home against Chicago.

  • New York Knicks (29-43)
  • Chicago Bulls (36-34)
  • NBA, Today, 7:30 PM on MSG, Full Preview
  • Madison Square Garden, New York, NY

Remember when Kristaps Porzingis had hit the infamous rookie wall? Everyone’s favorite New York Knicks‘ beat writer, Marc Berman, couldn’t stop writing about it. The Latvian big man burst through his rough March stretch with a 29-point performance last night in an unexpected win on the road in Chicago.

The Knicks embarrassed the Bulls on their home court, and tonight they hope to win the second game of their home-and-home set at the Garden.

With nothing to lose, and even less left to play for the Knicks should be leaving it on the floor every night but their inconsistent efforts are mind-boggling. It’s strange how they can look so awful against the Denver Nuggets and then blow out a playoff like the Bulls. Part of that also falls on head coach Kurt Rambis. This team has no incentive to believe in him when he’s nothing but a stooge who may not be around next season.

The Bulls will undoubtedly put up a better effort tonight, it can’t possibly be worse, so if the Knicks aren’t ready it could be another one of their patented disappointments.
